About
Mr. Garrison grew up in Pacific Grove, California and graduated from Pacific Grove High School. He earned an Associate of Arts degree from Monterey Peninsula College and two Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of California, Irvine. He lived and taught English as a Foreign Language to adults in the Czech Republic and students of all ages and proficiency levels in the People's Republic of China. Upon his return to the United States, Mr. Garrison worked as a Behavioral Specialist with autistic children at school and in their homes before earning his Single Subject Teaching Credential at California State University, Monterey Bay. Mr. Garrison has taught 9th grade English, 10th grade English, and 9th grade Language Arts Development in addition to AVID and CAL at Summer School. He is an Eagle Scout and enjoys extreme sports, traveling, backpacking, reading, cooking, and video games. Presently he is relieved to have finally earned his Master of Arts in Education at CSUMB.
